Youngest bride of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, Queen Ola Badirat, has reacted to claims that she secretly dated APC chieftain MC Oluomo and Fuji artiste, King Wasiu Ayinde Mashal, also known as Kwam1.

A controversial blogger claimed Queen Ola is one among the numerous women who are secretly dating MC Oluomo. The blogger further asserted that the Department of State Service (DSS) seized and arrested the late Alaafin’s wife in December.

In her reply to the story, Badirat claimed that her arrest by the DSS was not a surprise and that she had already warned a few individuals about it.

The queen claimed in a lengthy Instagram post that she was unaware that the late monarch had placed restrictions on her international passport before his passing, which caused her to be detained in DSS custody for two days when she was travelling for Umrah.

The queen said she tried to reach out to a few people, but they were unable to help. For this reason, she asked MC Oluomo for assistance, and she vowed to always be grateful to him.

She also refuted the allegations that, prior to leaving the palace in 2020, she was dating Kwam1.
