Pray for this if you want to succeed

Esther 2:15-17, 15 Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her. [16] So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. [17] The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

The women had twelve months of preparation for one night’s encounter with the king. Hundreds of other women were rejected but Esther was chosen. The issue is not that of turn but that of favour. Every woman had her turn but they were not all chosen.

Favour made the difference. Pray for favour if you want to succeed.

Joseph needed favour to become PM in Egypt. Esther needed favour to become queen.

Jesus needed favour when He walked on earth. “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” (Luke 2:52)

Now He is resurrected and He is favour personified. He lives in me; I’m not looking for favour, Favour lives in me!

14 Benefits Of The Force Of Favour

1. Doors open when favour is at work. Doors opened for Joseph in Egypt; doors opened for Esther in Babylon. Doors will open for you in this land and beyond! Several years ago an organization had desired to have one of its branches at the airport and it had been very difficult to secure the space because of Government bureaucracy and other factors. Several staff and even a sister’s bosses had tried to secure a space using their many connections but they had failed. This sister said she knew how important this was for her organization and how achieving this would lead to her promotion so she decided to secure the space. She met several bottlenecks so she took it to God in prayers. She had an appointment with the manager but before she was ushered in to see the manager, she pleaded the favour of God on herself and anointed herself for favour. They secured the space immediately after that meeting with the manager which led to her promotion as manager to oversee the branch. Favour gave her what others could not achieve.

2. Favour renders competition harmless.

3. Favour makes men choose you, your business, etc. Everyone who wants to succeed must constantly pray for favour. You could be talented, anointed and hardworking, but no one will notice you or choose you if you are not favoured. Favour makes you attractive. Favour makes you a people-magnet.

4. Favour renders opposition worthless and irrelevant. Favour defeats opposition.

5. Favour is released when it is time for God’s plan to be effected. Psalm 102:13, “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.”

6. When favour is at work inadequacies are ignored.

7. Protocol is suspended when favour is at work.

8. Positions are rearranged when favour is at work. There is a shift when favour kicks in.

9. Helpers appear when favour is operational. Favour is when people are willing and ready to invest their time, energy and resources in the fulfilment of your dream.

10. Promotion and enlargement are inevitable when favour is activated. Acts 2:47, “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

11. Enemies collapse before you when the favour of God is at work.

12. Problems are solved cheaply when the Almighty God favours a man.

13. Prosperity and success are guaranteed when divine favour locates a man. Favour makes you a prosperity-magnet. Men succeed not because they are good, anointed or hardworking, but because they are favoured. Esther was chosen by the king because she was favoured. It takes favour for a man or woman to choose to marry you.

14. Favour can destroy demonic covenants. A few years ago a sister came to see us at home from far away in another city. She had been struggling for over twenty years and couldn’t get married. While I was praying for her, I had a word of knowledge that she was suffering because of what happened 26 years back. Her mother had taken her to a native doctor who demanded for some of her items including her dress. I prayed for and ministered to her. I released favour into her life. Later in church as she was praying, she saw seven items of hers given to the native doctor burning. From that day, it was favour all the way. Someone gave her a car and she also received an invitation to visit the United States of America. She also started receiving many marriage proposals.

Every demonic covenant operating in your life is hereby destroyed in Jesus name!

To be favoured do the following:

1. Serve the King’s interest and purpose. Vashti was removed for failing to recognize and serve the King’s interest.

2. Be a worshipper. Acts 2:47

3. Sow seeds of kindness. Joseph interpreted dreams for people who could not pay him, God connected him to interprete a dream for one who could promote him. Be a generous person; as much as you can, help people in need. Show mercy if you want mercy.

Pray that divine favour will come on you now. Pray that the Blood of Jesus will erase any mark of rejection from your life. Pray that you will always be singled out for favour, promotion, and commendation from now on, in Jesus Name.

Let me close with this. In Esther 1:13-19, a panel sat to decide the fate of Queen Vashti. They decided to remove her from being queen. I prophesy over you: No panel will reject you. Every panel decision that is against you is hereby reversed, in the Name of Jesus! And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her (verse 15b). From now on, you will obtain favour in the sight of everyone who sees you in Jesus Name! It is time for your favour to manifest. God is bringing you into a season of opportunities. You will not miss your chance in Jesus Name. Favour will follow you everywhere you go, in Jesus Name. Every one that has a hand in your promotion will not only notice you, they shall act unfailingly from this week! Every delay in your promotion is hereby cancelled, in Jesus Name. Amen!
