Venita Akpofure, Yemi Cregx win best dressed at AMVCA opening night

It was a commemoration of rich and undiluted African culture at the Opening Night and Cultural Day event held on Thursday at the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino in Lagos to kick off the series of activities preceding the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Big Brother stars Yemi Cregx and Venita Akpofure stole the show on opening night by both taking home the bestdressed prize.

With her perfectly fitted pink corset dress, Venita made a striking impression on the red carpet of the cultural event. She used beaded jewellery and a big gele to adorn her head, representing her celebration of the Urhobo cultural heritage and beauty.

On the other side, Yemi Cregx appeared majestic in his reddish agbada, which he complemented with a matching fur collar. He added beaded ornaments to complete his distinctive appearance.
