Invincible Bendel Insurance of Benin continued from where they stopped in the first round as they fought back to draw 1-1 at Enyimba to maintain their unbeaten run in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) abridged season.

In yesterday’s keenly contested week 10 match in Aba, the host took the lead through in-form striker, Chukwuemeka Obioma who scored from the spot a minute before first half regulation time.

Enyimba were running away with the maximum point but another in-form striker, Imade Osarehkhoe, drew Insurance level in the 81st minute for a share of the spoils.

Insurance are still on top of Group A with 24 points and are now followed by Akwa United who defeated 3SC 2-0 with Cyril Olisema and Muritala scoring a goal each to dislodge Enyimba from second position with 18 points.
